For example, existing <a href=\"www.businessobjects.com\/products\/webi\">WebIntelligence<\/a> and <a href=\"www.businessobjects.com\/products\/reporting\/crystalreports\">Crystal Reports<\/a> users will be able to access text analytics directly through their familiar interfaces.\n<li>I&#8217;m biased, of course, but It&#8217;s very cool technology:\n<ul>\n<li>Key concepts recognized &#8220;out of the box&#8221;, such as dates, people, addresses, URLs, companies, etc.\n<li>Intelligent categorization based on taxonomies (a complaint is a complaint, even if it doesn&#8217;t use the word)\n<li>Automatic document summaries that change automatically according to the user&#8217;s interests\n<li>Automatic alerts if a new document matches an existing search, or whenever a document changes\n<li>etc&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Here&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessobjects.com\/products\/platform\/articles\/072509_text.asp?intcmp=corphp_inxight=undefined\">quick overview<\/a> of the new technology, and click on the image below to get a demo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessobjects.com\/demos\/bi_platform\/index.htm\" atomicselection=\"true\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"unstructured_demo\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/timoelliott.com\/blog\/WindowsLiveWriter\/BusinessObjectsTurnsInxightIntoInsight_8D07\/unstructured_demo_9bc0e50e-b2e2-4d3c-afd1-e14ff76dfadc.jpg?ssl=1\" border=\"0\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Now the interesting question: Business Objects is making it as easy as possible for its customers to implement and use the new technology options &#8212; are they ready?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Business Objects is trying to turn Inxight into insight.
