I recently had the honor of presenting the keynote for the SAP World Tour in Slovenia<\/a> (in Brdo, one of Tito\u2019s old hunting estates, near Ljubljana). The event was kicked off by the SAP country manager, Simon Kalu\u017ea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I covered the standard \u201cRun Better\u201d keynote slides, but at the request of the organizers, included some extra analytics material and examples.<\/p>\n

This was followed by a round-table discussion on real-life business mobility, featuring customers from various different sectors, hosted by renowned Slovenian TV journalist Vida Petrov?i?<\/a>. The different perspectives of public-sector and private companies, and smaller vs larger organizations, made for an unusually animated session.<\/p>\n

And after the morning break, Mariano Kristensen<\/a> of SAP gave two keynote presentations on SAP mobility solutions and HANA in-memory computing<\/p>\n

The afternoon breakout sessions covered a wide variety of topics, including the use of SAP Business Planning & Consolidation<\/a> by Mercator<\/a>, one of the largest and most successful commercial chains in South-eastern Europe, who won the prestigious 2011 Corporate Governance Award for Slovenia<\/a>.<\/p>\n
