A team of researchers in Darmstadt, Germany today announced a new virtual reality environment designed to test virtual reality headsets. “We looked into the emerging area of virtual and augmented reality, and realized that one of the most difficult choices facing potential users was the choice of virtual reality headsets”, says Dieter Meinhat. “So we’ve created a virtual store where people can come in and try on different brands of headsets to see which one is right for them.”<\/p>\n

The team is currently looking into opportunities to commercialize the product, “just as soon as we’ve figured out how to include blockchain,” says Dieter.<\/p>\n
