When you suddenly need to find new ways of working, you can&#8217;t!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heavily customized, on-premise system just aren&#8217;t as agile as modern cloud infrastructures. You have to say &#8220;no&#8221; more often to changes the business wants, and it takes longer to implement every change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In every industry I talk to, business models are changing: moving from selling things to selling things + connected services, and more subscription and shared-risk pricing. And you won&#8217;t necessarily get to decide when you need to change as new competitors take advantage of the new opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Will you be able to react fast enough when that happens?
