IDC Web Seminar on The Future of Cloud Analytics

cloud analytics not pie in the sky

Tomorrow on September 8th, I will be hosting a web seminar talking about the future of cloud analytics.

Join us at 7:00 a.m. PDT / 10:00 a.m. EDT / 4:00 p.m. CEST. to hear IDC Analyst Dan Vesset‘s views on how organizations are approaching new cloud analytics possibilities. Dan will be covering why cloud business analytics represent a major trend in the software market, and what business value customers are expecting.

I’d particularly like to encourage cloud analytics skeptics to join us. I’ve been talking about cloud analytics for many years, and I know many organizations are very reticent. But I believe that it is inevitable that cloud analytics be part of your future analytics landscape, so at a minimum you should make sure you’re on top of the latest trends.

Even if you don’t think cloud analytics is for you, realize that other companies like yours are already investing, as more and more core applications move to the cloud:

Just a couple of years ago, spending on cloud business analytics represented a small fraction of this $40+ billion worldwide software market. However, today, we see rapid and unabated growth in the adoption of cloud business analytics solutions. IDC expects that over the next five years, the cloud business analytics portion of this worldwide software market will continue to grow five times faster than similar solutions deployed using any other methods.

I’ll also be joined by SAP’s Ty Miller, who will be giving a demo of the latest and greatest features available in SAP BusinessObjects Cloud for BI. We look forward to answering your questions about how you can leverage your existing BI investments while moving to more modern, cloud-based solutions.

I hope you can join us! Register here
